CrowdStrike Expands Partner Footprint On the Heels of Record Growth in APJ
CrowdStrike increases investments in channel and partner program as part of regional growth strategy
SYDNEY, Australia – February 8, 2018 – CrowdStrike® Inc., the leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, today announced massive expansion of its partner ecosystem, operations, and footprint following record partner growth and sales in 2017. CrowdStrike experienced significant expansion in its active partner base in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, realizing massive growth in the number of new customers and upcoming opportunities.
CrowdStrike will continue to expand its international footprint following the establishment of operations in key markets including Singapore, Japan and India. In 2018, the company will further accelerate its customer and business momentum in APJ to continue to meet the spiking demand for its next-generation endpoint protection technology and services.
Underpinning the momentum in these regions is an increased demand from a variety of industries looking to replace legacy antivirus (AV) solutions with next-generation technology. Through CrowdStrike’s platform-first approach, partners receive an open framework for the development and deployment of next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), vulnerability management, IT hygiene and a 24/7 threat hunting service — all delivered via a single lightweight agent. This is a major differentiator from other vendors in the space who mainly rely on obsolete consoles and architectures to offer point products, not an end-to-end solution.
To support the rapid growth of its partner ecosystem, CrowdStrike will be tripling its channel team headcount with a number of strategic appointments including additional hires to be located across Australia, India, Singapore and Japan. This investment highlights CrowdStrike’s continued focus on its partner program and commitment to supporting partners across the APJ region.
Other key growth indicators from FY17 include:
- More than doubled the roster of active partners in APJ
- Registered deals increased by 500 percent in APJ
- 350 percent increase in APJ new business pipeline
